The Indian Women Scientists’ Association (IWSA) is a voluntary, non political, secular organisation registered in 1973. IWSA has nine branches all over India and its head quarters are located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The organisation's infrastructure provides facilities such as a hostel, day care centre and a nursery. IWSA also runs a computer training centre, health care centre, science library, and a training program for Montessori teachers, besides other regular programs. All these activities are self-supporting.

Membership

Membership of IWSA is open to all women who are science graduates and diploma holders in basic and applied sciences. Associate Membership is open to all women interested in science.
